Pilgrimage

The old cathedral, Coventry

The old cathedral, Coventry

This pic of the ruins of the old cathedral at Coventry comes to you via the wonders of modern technology and the genius of Mstr Miff, who’s just shown me how to ’shrink’ top-heavy snaps. It also shows the end of last week’s church pilgrimage through the Cotswolds; a first for myself. (Look, no blisters!) Taking ‘reconciliation’ as our theme, with its obvious links with Coventry, we wound our way through countryside and cowpats, by way of Winchcombe, Chipping Campden, Alveston, Stratford Upon Avon and Budbrooke. More to follow, once I’ve put the rest of the photos through the boil wash.

This takes me back – I was born and bred in Coventry (my parents were at the consecration of the new cathedral in 1963!)

Beautiful photo: look forward to seeing, and hearing, more.
